Badler with SIR Ex-Hollywood glamour icon Jane Badler makes her debut appearance here for Unstable Ape Records with her latest album ‘The Devil Has My Double’. Whilst Jane is fondly remembered for her portrayal as Diana in the cult sci-fi drama ‘V’, (as well as celebrated roles in Falcon’s Crest and Mission Impossible), it is not-so widely known that Jane has also been singing professionally for over 30 years – and her collaboration with SIR marks her first foray away from the world of jazz standards and torch songs. The Devil Has My Double is close to a concept work. Jane sings of her escapades, some desperate, some tawdry, some seductive and thrilling. Duetting on occasion with SIR’s Jesse Shepherd the duo recall Lee Hazelwood and Nancy Sinatra… Serge Gainsbourg and Jane Birkin… its sensual, its on the edge and it’s a little bit voyeuristic.
